FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Clarity,before we begin.

Find the key answers about scope, process and working together here.

Take your time to see whether Joan Webstudio is right for your project.

How should I prepare, and how long does the project take?

Before inquiring, use the checklist to plan business details, page content, images, logo and your preferred domain. Save your draft and return when ready.

After written project confirmation and receipt of the agreed deposit, you receive your personal portal link. One week is planned for entering and completing your materials. Submit earlier and make additions until the displayed deadline.

Joan reviews your materials and confirms production start. Allow about three weeks from that point; complete content and prompt approval can shorten the process. The actual schedule is confirmed for your project.

If the first preview meets your needs, additional revisions are unnecessary. Up to two consolidated revision rounds are available within the agreed scope when needed. Handoff follows internal checks and receipt of the final payment.

What is included in the fixed price of €990?

The standard scope includes up to five content pages including Home, one language, responsive implementation, up to two revision rounds, basic SEO and usual contact and call-to-action elements.

You normally provide the text, images and logo. Domain, hosting and external service costs are not included in the fixed price.

How are pages counted?

A page has its own address. Sections such as Services or Contact within a one-page website count together as one content page. Design style and page structure are chosen separately; the final page list is agreed in writing before production.

Up to five content pages, including Home. Legal notice and privacy policy are two additional information pages; posting the completed texts supplied by you is included.

Individual drafting or legal review of legal texts is not included. You supply the completed documents.

What if I need more than five content pages?

More content pages are available. Additional scope from the sixth content page is agreed transparently before production.

Can my website be multilingual?

Yes. The standard price includes one language. Another language can be added depending on the scope and is agreed separately.

Which additional features are possible?

Booking tools, a blog or CMS, larger galleries, newsletters and external integrations can be reviewed individually.

Online shops, custom payment systems, user accounts and complex database applications are currently outside the standard offer.

Do my text, images and logo need to be ready?

You do not need to submit files with the first inquiry. Just give an honest indication of how ready your content is.

Before production actually starts, the agreed content must be available in time.

When do I submit my files?

After written project confirmation and receipt of the agreed deposit, you receive your personal portal link. One week is planned for entering and completing your materials. Submit earlier and make additions until the displayed deadline.

Do not send passwords or sensitive login details through the general inquiry form.

When is my project slot reserved?

A preferred timeframe in the inquiry form is not a confirmed reservation.

A slot is reserved after the inquiry is reviewed, the scope is confirmed and the deposit is received. Production also requires the agreed content to be ready in time.

What happens if my materials are late?

If agreed content is not available in time, the originally planned start cannot be guaranteed.

Reasonable rescheduling may be possible. A new slot can be offered once the project is ready again and capacity is available.

What do “2 revision rounds” mean?

A revision round is one consolidated feedback stage within the agreed scope. You may use up to two rounds as needed; if you are happy with the preview, we can move directly to delivery preparation.

New pages, extra features or fundamental scope changes are additional work rather than ordinary revisions.

Who pays for domain, hosting and external services?

You pay domain, hosting, email, booking tools and other external providers directly.

This keeps your accounts and ongoing costs transparent and under your control.

Can an existing website be redesigned or migrated?

A simple redesign may be possible. Existing websites, migrations, URL structures and technical dependencies are reviewed individually first.

Before work begins, we clarify what can be reused and what additional effort is involved.

Who owns the website, domain and accounts afterwards?

The website should remain yours in the long term. Domain and external accounts are therefore set up in your name or your company's name wherever possible.

The agreed project files and necessary access are handed over according to the project scope at completion.

How do we communicate during the project?

Inquiries, materials and revision requests are submitted through the designated forms and customer portal.

Emails are for notifications. Once enabled, portal messages are available for necessary clarification and do not replace structured submissions.

How does payment work?

After the scope is confirmed, a 50% deposit is due under the agreed terms. The project slot is reserved after the deposit is received.

The remaining payment and final handover terms are confirmed in writing before the project starts.

Does Joan Webstudio work with private customers?

No. Joan Webstudio serves businesses and self-employed professionals commissioning a website for their business or professional activity.
